TNSI 2023 - STATE LEVEL COMPETITION EDII-TN TNSI-2023 (Tamil Nadu Student Innovators) is a programme that identifies student innovators and reward them for building a Minimum Viable Product to convert their ideas into a start-up company from all over Tamil Nadu. The student teams are provided the opportunity to present their innovative ideas as a solution to identified and validated problems. Students from SCAD Polytechnic College have applied to it and participated in the TNSI 2023 state-level competition. Four teams from our college were selected for Phase I of the TNSI 2023 Ideation Program.
Awareness Program on Niral Thiruvizha
On December 23, 2023, put-going students attended a one-day entrepreneurship program. Mr. P. Chithirai Sankar (HOD, Automobile Department, SCAD Polytechnic College, Cheranmahadevi) played an important role in explaining the mission and activities of EDII-TN to the eager participants. The resource person has clearly explained various options for becoming an entrepreneur by demonstrating the current problems in Tirunelveli District. He defined the goals of the Niral Thiruvizha Hackathon and inspired students to not only participate but also win prizes. The session was extremely interactive, with the students asking questions and clarifying their doubts. A total of 150 students benefited from the program.
According to IIC plan,our college participated in “ Regional Meet” at FX Engineering College, Tirunelveli.In that meeting our college representative Mr.P.Chithirai Sankar ,HOD/Automobile, and Mr.T.Kasimuthuturer/CSE attended the track one I session:Knowledge sharing session on creation and sustaining an I&E Ecosystem in HEI: He gained knowledge about IIC plan and portal operations. Students can develop their entrpreneurship skill through IIC Portal.
