Women cell is a vibrant and incessantly active initiative in SCAD Polytechnic College.
Objective
Helping female students live a balanced life where they neither lurk into depression no take the abode of aggression.
- To stress upon the development of women in every sphere.
- To organize events and activities for women empowerment.
- To create an environment that will help women realize their full potential and give their best
- To realize role of women in building up of a healthy society.

We conducted many ones in the past five years like

- Gender-based insults

- Forcible physical touch
- How to improve mental health
- Leadership quality
- Team building
- Social media awareness
These events are helped to create awareness among students on the issues relating to gender inequality, sexual harassment etc and suggested ways to empower girls. Students were also informed about the members in the women development committee whom they would approach for guidance.
