Manufacturing and Fabrication
Vision
By improving interpersonal and technical skills in vehicle design and fabrication, learners will be able to contribute to product development in interdisciplinary labs by integrating machining techniques. The student as an engineer will have the ability to provide solutions and inventions based on the needs of society respecting all standards and ethics.
Mission
The fundamental objective is to ignite and evacuate all the inhibited talents of the learner and project him as an equipped engineer in the midst of existing industries / entrepreneurs. Encourage the learners to participate in all National and International technical events and showcase their skills. The learner will be able to organize the same platform and improve their interpersonal skills.
Objectives
- To provide ongoing training for students in the application of vehicle manufacturing and technology.
- To provide platform to showcase their ideas in the National and International competitions.
What we do
- Design and stimulation (sketch any kind of 3D, 2D sketches, Sheet metal composites tooling parts and their assembly using CAD software).
- Material processing and Handling (Engineering standards and specification)
Achievements
- won the second place in the Francis Xavier Engineering College robotic challenge.
- participated in the IC Engine Workshop conducted at IIT Chennai.
- Won third prize in the Connections competition at the Fx Polytechnic College Project Expo.
- won first place in the St. Mother Theresa Engineering College Free Fire Game.
- won the third place in the FX Engineering College's Innovest 2k'24 project competition.
- Participated in TN Skill Level I
- Students participated in the Scad College of Engineering and Technology's 3D printing workshop.
- Won second prize in FX FastLine Robotic Contest 1.0 was organized by FX Engineering College.
- Selected one team in Internal Hackathon 2023 Competition at SCAD Polytechnic College.

- Two students won first prize in Quiz competition, Two students won first prize in logo competition, Two students won Second prize in paper presentation held at FRICTION-22 was organized by karpaga vinayaga college of engineering and technology,chengalpattu.
- Won third prize in TECHNOLICS’22 was organized by BMESI-BIT CHAPTER Bannari Amman Institute of Technology.
