Aims & Objectives
There is so much we can do beyond medicine for our health and well-being. Let medicines do their work but,there are plenty of other tools that can improve our quality of life. One such tool is “prayer”, provided it is done the right way. Neither do you have to be a religious person nor do you need to visit a religious place to do a prayer. This is about honest spirituality and true prayer is free from all of this.
The SCAD PRAYER CELL was formed in DEC 2010 in the presence Mr.J.Monimaran, Principal of SCAD Polytechic college. Mrs.Jeyanthi Sr.Lecturer /ECE is the prayer cell coordinator. The prayer cell is organizing with the cooperation of prayer cell committee members from all the department
- Praise - Praise God for who He is and give thanks for specific things He has done.
- Repent - Admit your sin to God and ask for forgiveness. Make sure people know they can pray silently.
- Ask - Pray for others and ask God for help on their behalf.
- Your own needs -Ask God to meet your needs.
- To create a positive ambiance & feeling of the Almighty’s benign presence
- To inculcate discipline, righteousness, belongingness among the students
- To strengthen the spirit of duty, harmony, patriotism in life
- To boost the morale of students
- To initiate the spirit of humaneness, service towards mankind
- Organize monthly prayer meeting
- SCAD POLY PRAYER CELL are also conducted at the beginning and at the end of the session regularly
- SCAD POLY PRAYER CELL organize special prayer for the students during examination .
- SCAD POLY CHOIR CLUB was created by the students and faculty members
