The academic year for the batch of 2023 started today (21/06/2023). An inaugural function for the freshers was arranged by SCAD Polytechnic College. The event was attended by the honourable Correspondent of SCAD Group of Institutions, Mrs. Augusti Marys Priyadharshini; Dr. John Kennady, Director of Admission and Activities, SCAD Group of Institutions; Mr. Thambidurai, General Manager, SCAD Campus Cheranmahadevi; the Principal, Mr. J. Monimaran; Mr.Chithirai Shankar, A.O., HOD/Auto; all the Head of the Department, Faculties, Students and their Parents. The Principal addressed the students and their parents, and he introduced all the Head of the Departments and the first year faculty members. The Correspondent madam gave her presidential address; Dr. John Kennady and Mr. Thambidurai also addressed the gatherings and advised the students to behave well and achieve great things in life. The rules and regulations of the institution were also explained to the students, and they were directed to their respective classes.
