Extracurricular activities and sports events are part of education at SCAD Polytechnic College. Students from all of the departments practiced properly, and they participated in the IPAA Tirunelveli Divisional Sports Meet held at Lakshmi Ammal Polytechnic College, Kovilpatti. In this tournament, 68 polytechnic colleges from five districts participated. Our students participated in various sports events: 4x10 relay, triple jump, long jump, high jump, shot put, 400-meter hurdles, pole vault, hammer throw, 100, 200, and 1000-meter running. Our students got eight gold medals, six silver medals, and eight bronze medals, and our college became the winners at the IPAA Divisional Tournament.
